Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Nexus. By creating an account or ordering cards you agree to them. Questions go to hello@nexustap.co.

01The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Nexus. If you use Nexus on behalf of a company, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it, and "you" means that company.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. Business customers can also accept our data processing agreement.

02Your account

  • You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication.
  • You're responsible for activity under your account and, for team owners and admins, for the members you invite.
  • Tell us promptly at hello@nexustap.co if you think your account has been compromised.

03Plans, billing and cancellation

  • Nexus is a paid service. Plans, prices and what each includes are shown on our pricing page. Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes.
  • Plans renew automatically for the same period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. Teams plans are billed per seat, with a minimum number of seats.
  • You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable.
  • If a payment fails, we may pause your profile until it's resolved.
  • We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll give at least 30 days' notice before a price change affects you.

04Physical cards

  • Cards are ordered separately from plans. We confirm material, design, quantity and price with you before production.
  • You're responsible for the artwork and text you provide and for having the right to use any logos or trademarks on it.
  • Because cards are personalised, they can't be returned unless they arrive faulty or don't match the approved proof. Tell us within 14 days of delivery and we'll replace them.
  • Natural materials vary: every wooden card has a unique grain, and metal finishes may show slight differences between batches.
  • A card opens your profile only while you have an active plan. You can switch off a lost card from your dashboard at any time.

05Your content

You own what you publish on Nexus. You give us a limited licence to host, display and process it only to provide the service to you.

You're responsible for your content and for the personal data you collect through your profile. When you collect contacts or leads, you're the controller of that data and must have a lawful basis to use it.

06Acceptable use

Don't use Nexus to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • impersonate a person or organisation, or mislead people about who you are;
  • publish malware, phishing, spam or content that is hateful, harassing or sexually explicit;
  • collect personal data without consent or a lawful basis;
  • probe, overload or disrupt our systems, or get around limits and security controls.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you the chance to fix the problem.

07Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Nexus available and secure, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service unless we've agreed a service level in writing (for example, in an Enterprise agreement). We may improve and change features; if we remove something material you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.

08Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may end or suspend the service for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. After the agreement ends, your profiles go offline and we delete your data as described in our privacy policy. Export anything you want to keep before then.

09Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

10Governing law and changes to these terms

The governing law and courts are set out in your order or Enterprise agreement; where none is specified, the law of our place of establishment applies, without affecting consumer protection rights where you live.

We may update these terms. For material changes, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the dashboard. If you keep using Nexus after the changes take effect, the new terms apply.
